- Dreams United
- I am Sara Hamza, a senior at Hume Fogg High School and part of the Senior Capstone program. I intern at Preston Taylor Ministries, an after school program for inner city children. For my project, I have created a program entitled Dreams United to connect each child at the Park Avenue site with someone who can help them further explore an area of his or her interest. I created this program with hopes that each child will take a simple interest and turn it into a hobby, which ultimately means putting his energy into a positive endeavor. This is important for these children because it is tough to counter the negative forces that they are immersed in due to their surroundings. Zachary
Zachary is an aspiring veterinarian, and I would like him to spend a day at a vet’s office or an animal shelter to learn more about animals and see the work that goes into taking care of them as a living. Zachary is an extremely sweet and loving kid. He wants to grow up to help people with cancer. He has a good heart, which is illustrated by the fact that he has a passion for helping people and animals. Zachary also likes to play football.
