About Me

My photo
I am Sara Hamza, a senior at Hume Fogg High School and part of the Senior Capstone program. I intern at Preston Taylor Ministries, an after school program for inner city children. For my project, I have created a program entitled Dreams United to connect each child at the Park Avenue site with someone who can help them further explore an area of his or her interest. I created this program with hopes that each child will take a simple interest and turn it into a hobby, which ultimately means putting his energy into a positive endeavor. This is important for these children because it is tough to counter the negative forces that they are immersed in due to their surroundings. Antwanette

Antwanette is a third grader and aspires to be a pop singer. She idolizes Michael Jackson and Hannah Montana. Antwanette would like help in writing a song.
In her spare time, Antwanette likes to do cartwheels, jump rope, draw, swing, and play multiplication Bingo. Because her original life goal to meet Michael Jackson is not possible, she now wants to go to a Hannah Montana concert instead.
